PRP FACIAL
Plasma-Rich Platelet Therapy ( also known as PRP facelift or Vampire Facial) - Platelets from your blood are concentrated and then injected back into your skin.
PRP FACIAL
Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) works on the basis that the body has healing powers potent enough to improve the signs of ageing and hair growth. A small amount of blood is taken from your arm, then spun in a centrifuge to separate the plasma and the platelets that contain your own growth factors. Plasma is a light-yellow liquid when it has been separated from the rest of the blood, which is made of water and proteins. Platelets are made in the bone marrow and help stop bleeding in an injury.

The "vampire facial" is a popular treatment among the celebrities and has been around for many years. This is an anti-ageing facial that stimulates collagen production and cell growth in your skin through a combination of microneedling with PRP.

PRP can also be injected into the skin and does not need to be done with microneedling. Injecting the PRP into the tissues of the skin, triggers your body to produce new, healthy cells and promotes healing. As the tissue growth factors are concentrated in the PRP injections, it stimulates your body’s tissues to heal faster.

The treatment is suitable for men and women as well as offering skin benefits for clients of all ages.

PRP can treat various indications:

-
Skin elasticity and volume loss
-
Crow’s feet and dark under-eye circles
-
Acne scarring
-
Dull skin complexion
-
Fine lines and wrinkles
-
Signs of ageing
-
Dry or dehydrated skin
-
Poor skin texture & enlarged pores
-
Pigmentation problems
-
Stretch marks

PRP is an excellent treatment for the under-eye area. New blood vessels in the under-eye area allow nutrients and oxygen into the skin, resulting in a decrease in puffiness and loose undereye skin is tightened. Appearance of darkened and hollow under eyes is improved.

Treatment & Events
A course of 3-4 treatments is recommended for PRP face injections or PRP facial with microneedling, 1 month apart plus a top up treatment at 6-12 months to get the most out of your PRP treatment.
Following the treatment, it can take 4 weeks for PRP to work as it needs to stimulate new fibroblasts and skin cells. Results can last around 15-18 months. Depending on your skin concerns these treatments will be tailored to get the best results.
